It’s almost time to return to the spooky halls of Nevermore Academy with everyone’s favorite Addams. After almost three years, Wednesday is releasing new episodes on Netflix this week with a two-part release schedule. Keep reading to find out exactly when Part 1 drops on the streamer.
Jenna Ortega reprises her role as Wednesday Addams in the next installment, which picks up after the Season 1 finale, which saw Wednesday defeat Tyler (Hunter Doohan), who was the Hyde terrorizing campus, and his mastermind/normie teacher Laurel (Christina Ricci), who wanted to kill all the outcasts. The actress told Tudum that Season 2 will kick off with Wednesday being kidnapped.
“Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem,” the synopsis reads. “Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.”
In addition to Ortega, the new season welcomes back some familiar faces, including Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair and Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, as well as Addams Family members — Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams — who will have an extended role in Season 2.
The first season of Wednesday became Netflix’s most popular series ever, so there’s a lot to look forward to with the release of Parts 1 and 2. Here’s what you need to know about the release time and how to watch new episodes.
